I’m seeing people posting that they wish Scotland would keep Trump and do whatever they want with him. No. Trump is the American people’s trash to take out. We must clean up our own mess. And then we Americans can rightly take the credit for toppling Trump’s House of Cards.

Thoughts on the Epstein files: Seems to me that G. Maxwell holds the golden ticket to get a pardon from Trump. At this point, she may threaten to spill the beans on the depths of Trump’s involvement in the depravity…unless she gets a pardon. Pardon: Trump good guy. No pardon? Trump bad guy.

Trump on a tear against Biden…Trump just said in news conference that when he was last in office, “We had no wars, we had no problems.” Excuse me? During Trump’s first term, the USA was still embroiled in a war in Afghanistan & there was his failure to even adequately address the COVID pandemic.

My union, AFGE, sent this response to the Trump administration “Fork in the Road” resignation pitch emails forwarded to federal workers, including VA employees, many of whom are veterans. VA is already short-staffed. Adequate funding & staffing needed to fulfill promise to “Leave No Veteran Behind.”

On CNN this morning, a Democrat on the House Oversight committee said that the Trump administration, using input from DOGE, plans to “eviscerate the federal government.” I expect they olan to pack this evisceration into the Reconciliation bill. Now is the time to call our House & Senate reps!

I’m a fed employee retiree who’s an officer in my AFGE union local. Last night was on a Leadership call that gave details on how Trump plans to eliminate fed employee & retiree benefits. Including going after our FEHB health plans coverage. I can barely afford what I pay for coverage now. Scary!

In NIH news: King Donald has proclaimed that all future agency meetings are canceled. And so it shall be. Notice sent to each employee & it concludes with “Thank you for your service.” Retired fed here & that lingo is usually reserved for workers who are on the way out. Causes me concern.

Trump is now threatening the future of FEMA. He told Sean Hannity that states should take care of their own problems. OMG. We are the United States of America. We are committed by our Constitution to “promote the general welfare…” The intent is clearly for the states to aid & assist each other.

Proud to be an active member of this Union. AFGE is pushing back against a flurry of anti-worker Executive Orders issued by Prez Trump. One example: He’s brought back Schedule F, which attempts to eliminate employees’ due process rights so they can be fired for political reasons. To the barricades!
