I wish I were dumb enough, or cruel enough, to think that what Trump’s doing to this country is for our nation’s good. But I’m not that dumb or cruel, so I’m constantly depressed. It’s going to be a long four years.

It looks as if Elon’s on track to do to the United States exactly what he did to Twitter: Acquire a thriving entity, gut its assets, eliminate its workforce, and leave it a shambles for no apparent purpose but the satisfaction of destruction. America, I fear, will never be great again. It’s over.

Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Evangelicals betrayed America for ten cents off on a dozen eggs.

What infuriates me most about Trump is that he’s making a mockery of the confirmation process. It’s all a game to him. His priorities are chaos, division, and ratings. The country’s welfare is irrelevant.
