Stranger Things has become the most mediocre show of all time. It had one good season, which was season 1. Ever since then it feels like the show is completely directionless. They rehash character arcs and story beats. Nothing of substance happens.

I don’t know why I’m surprised, but why is there “outrage” over the armor design in Nolan’s trailer for The Odyssey? People need something to complain about, I guess.

There isn’t much I can add to the news of the tragic passing of Rob Reiner except to say that it is shocking and incredibly sad. Reiner represents a truly meaningful figure, not only in Hollywood, but in my formative taste and interest in movies.

I am genuinely terrified about the future of Hollywood and the theatrical experience with Netflix’s recent acquisition of Warner Bros. All I can say is I hope the appeal by James Cameron, Spielberg, and Nolan is successful.

I’m extremely disappointed that Greig Fraser won’t be returning as cinematographer for The Batman Part II. However, I trust Matt Reeves. His direction plays a massive role in how the movie is shot, and Erik Messerschmidt’s pedigree with David Fincher gives me a lot of confidence.
