I was turned on to Tame Impala about a decade ago and I've been listening to their latest release (Deadbeat) over the past couple of months and... it's okay? I think Lonerism, Currents, and Slow Rush are still my faves.

I appreciate GMT's interest in developing solitaire rules even for games that feel like they might not adapt well to solo play. Games are always better with friends, but sometimes you don't have anyone around and you just want to explore a game yourself. @gmtgames.bsky.social @volko.bsky.social

When Ark Nova came out, I was getting into wargaming pretty fanatically. I've still not played it, but it seems highly regarded and appears to have staying power, with it still hanging out on BGG's "hotness". Thoughts on this game?

Bonaparte in Italy, by Jean Baptiste Edouard Detaille and painted in 1908. This is from my favourite of Napoleon's campaigns. Probably has a lot to do with the countryside.

I gently squeezed the trigger today on Chad Jensen's Combat Commander. #LateToTheParty. The 20th Anniversary Edition seemed like a good excuse to finally add this one to my collection. @gmtgames.bsky.social

Just watching the first two episodes of Vince Gilligan's new show #Pluribus and it's very good. A lot of opportunity to make some hilariously dark social commentary here, and I'm really eager to see where this goes.
