All my kid has wanted for months was the Switch 2. They saved up money for it. We managed to get one for him and one for me. When my kid found out, they started crying with excitement. The year has been rough for the kid. I can't wait to put that thing in their hand when it gets here.

They are smart. They paid attention when he said that he was going to make the blue states suffer and acted accordingly. Good job to both Canada and Mexico!

I don't say this lightly- this moment in parenting has been near impossible. So I wait and cry after they go to bed and make the time I spend with them full of love and acceptance.

Federal employees should be doing this anyway. It is sound advice at all times...just especially now.
If you are a federal employee, it is advised to set your social media accounts to private to prevent outside viewership, as reports suggest that loyalty screenings have begun.

If you tell me what your gender is, I believe you. Even if the government says otherwise.

Zak Smith and his cronies are trying to claw their way back into communities. Do not let them.

He has posted these instructions to his followers. Do not assume good faith for the next few weeks.

Played my child "What can you get a Wookie for Christmas" from the Christmas in the Stars album.

Their response, "what the actual h-e-l-l, Mom?" (Spelling it because they can't say it.)

My response, "I have been waiting for this day."

Them: "This is just Rule 34 in action."

Spent the weekend doing much needed cleaning up and organizing and starting to decorate for the holiday season. I can't even remember how I got everything packed up, but I think I must have been rushing due to pain and tossing things in boxes.

My algorithm here is showing me people creating art and talking about their passions and their pets. It is a wonderful cozy spot. I am thankful for this break from *waves arms* everything going on.

Just looked at my kid's wish list, and there is not much to give the grandparents/family. It is just a ton of manga, the odd video game merch, and some soft cozy things. I have to get creative (with help of course.)

This made my morning!
Hi everyone.

The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars.

We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website.

We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off.

I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.
The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy
The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.

Watching GamesCom Opening Night, and so far, if you like fighting, and "MANLY" shooting games. It also had a yawn worthy movie trailer. Nothing much for the cozy or indie gamer. And apparently people want to hear more about Starfield, but I am good.

I have done about as good as I could not to get sick with everything out there.

Today, it happened. It is either from a private family thing or my husband bringing something home from my mil's rehab.

Either way, this sucks and is really why we can't go just anywhere yet.

It only took me 60 hours to finish all the homeschool portfolio/education plan stuff. This is down from 100 hours last year. I am proud of us. Here is to the next year. Every year, I keep thinking that I could never request this of the public school system without being told it was "over reach."

Took my kid shopping and thrifting today, and they are 1) living a cozy life and 2) able to figure out outfit combos better than anyone I know.
