There’s a PEACEFUL protest happening in Ghana yet the Police with backing from the government are rounding up protesters for no reason, calling them suspects, cramming them up into buses to police stations and beating them!!

My ADHD thrives on reward systems only when the rewards are quickly attainable. Long term consequences (read: benefits, gratification, reward) are unfortunately things my brain cannot comprehend or be patient enough to stick it out for.

One example that I did years before iot was a thing was to measure the temperature in different rooms to determine where heating needs to be activated based off a set of rules (schedule). I just had a relay wired into the thermostats controlled by an Arduino that sent data via zigbee to a server.

Sometimes I think about how I struggle to find balance in life, and today’s thought is about people relation.
I think I’m not generally a good (read nice) person, but I will also lay down my life (literally) for the people I love.
And that’s all I have capacity for, and that feels enough.
