I think most law enforcement departments are still operating on “the moment of threat” doctrine to frame justified deadly force. That’s no longer allowed. See May ‘25 ruling in Barnes v. Felix. The reasonableness of deadly force must be assessed based on the totality of the circumstances. 1/

Good evening from amateur radio station KL2R in Two Rivers, Alaska. Today late morning we experienced a brief power outage. After a busy day in town, dogs, supper, I finally decided to check the shack and reboot the PCs. Well, the Toyo errored out. The shack was 38F. Brrr. I think I’m out of fuel.

K3Y/KL7 had some good action on the bands today. KL7IDA and I had a total of 6 hours. Gosh, y’all are hungry for those sweeps!
I’m excited to add many more calls and band slots in the coming weeks. This could be a banner year for me. 62 Qs in 3 hours today is amazing. 15-18/ hr typical busy shift.
