A massive fire broke out today in the Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh - Kutupalong 1W - destroying an estimated 1000 shelters, along with several mosques and hospitals. At least 2 refugees, including a child, have tragically lost their lives. Urgent humanitarian assistance is desperately needed.

Nay San Lwin, a Rohingya political activist, said the prosecutor’s application was long overdue. “We warmly welcome this move,” he said, adding that he hoped an arrest warrant would be issued promptly.
