Last night I heard “Last Christmas” officially ending my first attempt at #Whamageddon. Not eating out or shopping in stores seems like the safest approach to survival, but that also seems like it would be cheating (and not very fun).

Last night I heard “Last Christmas” officially ending my first attempt at #Whamageddon. Not eating out or shopping in stores seems like the safest approach to survival, but that also seems like it would be cheating (and not very fun).
That is not to say I am not excited for the college football playoffs. March Madness is the most wonderful time of the year so catching a piece of that for football is exciting, but it is very hard to just add excitement without subtracting from other areas like the Army/Navy game.

One of the unfortunate consequences of the @cfbplayoff.bsky.social expansion is that College GameDay is not at the Army/Navy game this week. It is a bummer to see the prominence of that tradition decrease with the College Football Playoffs starting next week.

This year we had family from both sides of the family and friends at Thanksgiving which worked extremely well for keeping everyone on their best conversation behavior. Would recommend!
