Having a lot of feelings today about how fandom used to be about camaraderie and finding friendship within similar interests and now, as everything else, it all feels commodified and creator/consumer when I'm writing stuff for my enjoyment and just want people to say wow I loved this thanks yay.

fanworks are not the rent you pay to be in fandom, I shout at myself, as I continue to feel like I am "letting everyone down" by focusing on my crumbling shambles of a life and the noxious political state of my country and world, all while battling severe health issues I see 2-3 drs for PER WEEK.

I never had noise canceling headphones before, they're not fancy ones, they definitely reduce outside noise/distraction by over 50% and it's been SUCH a game changer for my comfort both at home and commuting. I am not someone who listens to music loudly so I am aware of surroundings. But phew! Wow!

I can't believe how many nights I am so exhausted but I'm forced to stay up hours past when I want to go to bed which then results in might not sleeping throughout the night. All I want is the autonomy to go to bed when I'm tired I don't know why this is so beyond my control

I truly wish I were allowed uninterrupted sleep. Its just crazy my whole life revolves around other people's comfort with none left for me. Every doctor says low stress and true rest are the only ways to prevent Lupus from eating me alive. But it only ever gets worse and worse. I am so tired.
