Last week I made the difficult decision to take a break from my masters program to let my brain rest. I was recently diagnosed with Autistic burnout and a break from the pressure and demand of academics may help settle some of my cognitive struggles.

No one should have to have an IUD inserted or removed without being given options for pain management such as sedation or anesthesia. We're told to take ibuprofen and have someone drive us home when what we go through is tantamount to torture.
