Giving public money to faith groups *because* they're faith groups is unsecular, unfair and unjustifiable. The Zion Projects debacle serves to illustrate the dangers of this kind of discriminatory approach to community services.

We've referred a charity to the regulator for describing homosexuality as a "degrading perversion" - just the latest example of a religious charity spreading vicious homophobia. Any suggestion it is acting in the public benefit is utterly farcical.
