Expecting some kind of weird Trump thing today because he's not the center of attention.

I think everyone knew this was possible, but Israel seems to be taking the Chinese EV surveillance threat seriously:

I don't know what to make of this, but stocks fall all day in tandem with bond prices moving down, then bonds and the market rally into the announcement of a decent 30 year auction, and then immediately stocks start going back down again. What on earth was expected?

I'm wondering if by drawing fresh attention to the fact that the Trump administration is completely incompetent, the Signal fiasco will actually have some lasting effect on the perception of the administration. Kind of an Emperor's New Clothes effect. I can dream, anyway.

Before the inauguration, I did not anticipate Trump working to destroy the US defense export industry. But he certainly seems to be trying.
Denmark has donated 19 of the F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, and now Trump has ordered an end to US support for their onboard jamming equipment, thereby helping Putin destroy this USD 291,000,000 donation.

This US administration is an enemy of Europe.

Maybe if you read all of them on the day you died. Otherwise, one might hope reading might have informed your behavior in the intervening time. The world doesn't end when you die, or at least it hasn't for anyone up until now.

I don't know that anyone solves it. Partly that is because the exact problem that people are trying to solve changes over time. I'm quite old, so I remember the VMS cross-language calling standard, which "solved" the problem on VMS for the VMS languages. But that model is too simple today.
