72.8% agreed: democracy must be defended at all costs. But many weren't happy with the way it currently works.

A massive Reform majority despite 73% of voters not voting for them. Is there, anyone, anyone left who thinks our electoral system is fit for purpose? Please none of the usual responses, like Reform won’t be so popular at the next GE or that we can rely on tactical voting. We need fair votes!

Without Proportional Representation millions of us are without a voice. In fact the way the polling is going - MOST of us are without a voice. Why should we pay taxes if we have no say in how they are spent? Is it time to say “No taxation without representation?”

Absolutely. The 2024 general election saw a turnout of only 59.8%, and Labour won a measly 33.7% of the vote share, making it the most disproportional election in U.K. history. Democratic? Not in any fair society.
