The next hour is grueling. Hongjoong is so unused to moving his body in the ways he might need to with a weapon, the only swords he's ever touched being ceremonial and fragile in nature. The wooden sticks San equips them with are nothing like that; they're heavy, and unwieldy, and in the same moment San explains how to hold it, where to hit on an opponent, Hongjoong can feel it leaking out of his memory under the strain of his muscles.

What's worse, he can tell San is not even trying. He isn't set off balance by the weight, nor Hongjoong's wild swings at him. He steps smoothly out of the way of strikes. And his sharp focus narrows onto Hongjoong's open spots in a split second, poking him gently with the branch in the stomach, at the shoulder, on the cheek. Even with Yeosang's cheering, he's frustrated, blood hot at his face and all over, cursing under his breath, and San cracks into a smile, dimples evident.

Fandom needs interaction to thrive, if u want to keep enjoying art, fic, edits, animations, silly little hcs, and all of that gud stuff, give some of the love back that creators pour out for you, fandom shouldn't be /content/ to mindlessly consume, let it be a dialogue of love and appreciation 🙏✨❤️

I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.
