Today the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved $100,000 in contingency funding to help food security and hunger relief organizations purchase and distribute food amid delays in federal food assistance for tens of thousands of community members.

📣 ALERT–The federal government shutdown has impacted SNAP benefits, but it has not affected the supply chain we all rely on to buy food.

🍼There is no shortage of baby formula as a result of the shutdown, so please don't change your purchasing habits. There is plenty for everyone to purchase.

👻While Halloween is the time to eat, drink, & be scary, it's also flu & RSV season, & typically when we see a rise in Covid. Wash your hands & wear a mask in crowds. The flu & RSV vaccines reduce the risk of illness & protect our most vulnerable citizens from getting infected.

WIC clinics are open regular hours during the federal government shutdown. With SNAP benefits expected to be cut in the coming days due to the federal government shutdown, food assistance in Multnomah County will be impacted. As of Nov 1, with the federal government shutdown expected to continue, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits will not be issued in OR until funding resumes, impacting food assistance in Multnomah County. ⚠️BOIL WATER NOTICE for Corbett, OR 10-23-25
There is a mainline leak on Larch Mountain Rd. which feeds the entire District. The repair has been completed & water restored but reservoir levels are dropping quickly & we need to open the valves to let them fill. All customers will need to boil.
