Not all is happy about Rabbit Island! The Japanese army used the island from 1902 to the end of WWII as a military base and produced poison gases here. It lead to many accidents and deaths of people… It is said that the rabbit’s original population were laboratory rabbits set free!

A lady in a local art shop is making these for charity, I've just had the most wonderful life-affirming Beatles chat with her. She was one of Gerry Marsden's friends and her mum went out with George Harrison. I bloody love Beatle people.
