Social security is funded by the payroll tax. There is no problem because payroll taxes should be increased just like Ronald Reagan did. A good start would be subjecting wages over $176,000 to the payroll tax. Consider that the average CEO makes 100 times that amount.

This is an old business theme - equating free markets to personal freedom - that has been pushed and sponsored by business organizations since 1900 at least. It was used to argue for child labor - a father should have the freedom to choose what's right for his family.
