I've been gone 4a while as needed head space but have to jump back 2say how much of a pleasure it was to meet @ei8kd.bsky.social - Norby was here for IOTA contest & threw some RF in to the air Friday (SOTA) / Saturday & Sunday (IOTA) however using that weird mode CW - that's just for old people eh ?

I WAS going 2take 857 with me on scooter trip but space is premium. given I dont want 2 spend money on a battery I built this bodge job from some chunky LiFePO4 cells I was gifted 4s2c 50Ah. great for Ops here but far to chunky 2take away 4the 857. so it's going 2b a camera & no radio sort of trip!

oh what a great time to be alive... Guernsey is at the start of it's 4 yearly elections (the States of Guernsey)... 38 seats and 82 standing. That's just over a 1 in 2 chance of getting in. There are some absolute numpties, God help us!! :-)
