Like if Ukraine push Russia back across the border Putin would say "Okay, it's enough. I will admit defeat and sign a peace treaty. Then I will stand in front of my people like the biggest loser since Tsar Nikolai II. That will be my legacy. No problem".
I find it interesting that so many people think the war will end with a negotiated peace agreement. The issue now they say is that Russia just needs to be pushed harder to negotiate in good faith. But would Russia start negotiating just because it's pushed back?

🧵1: Google updated their satellite images of Mariupol. The sight is horrifying.

For over 3 years russian occupiers have closed off the city. war crimes are being covered up, evidence erased.

In the outskirts; terrifying amounts of rapidly growing unmarked mass graves!

1/5 THREAD: russia’s empire of chaos

Putinism isn’t about building a future. It’s about burning the present.

russia’s imperialism is fueled by hate, destruction, and fear.

It doesn’t offer progress — only chaos

Josh Johnson is so good and I’m glad his audience is growing.

Comedians—Colbert, Rosie, Joy Behar, Trey and Matt—are being threatened because they are threatening to this inhumane regime.

I hope they keep banding together, doubling down, and speaking truth to power.
