Football, music, photography, films and TV. With the odd rhyming couplet thrown in for no good reason.
That was a tad disappointing, to say the least.

If the Russians ever wanted to invade, they wouldn't need conventional weapons. They could just wait until the first cold snap of winter when the country has been rendered imobile by a light dusting of snow and march straight in.

I'm not sure who is advising on Labour policy, but if they seriously believe aping Reform is going to attract Reform voters, I have some magic beans to sell them.

Howe still has plenty of credit in the bank and no true supporter is calling for his head but serious questions need to be asked about his in game management. Some of his decisions are bizarre, to say the least.

Didn't need to be Nostradamus to predict the outcome of that one.

I'm pretty sure when she wrote Violet, Courtney Love never expected it to become an anthem for menopausal women in West Yorkshire.

It's difficult to find words to describe just how appallingly bad that performance actually was.
Massive improvement needed on Wednesday.

I still can't believe this man plays for Newcastle United.

Takeaway from tonight's game, Bruno was magnificent, Jacob Murphy can still and will put it on a plate. Anthony Gordon loves playing in the Champions League, Barnes is a class finisher and the money we paid for big Nick looks like small change. No wonder Bayern got so salty about missing out.

There are no certainties in football, but it was inevitable that Sean Dyche would get the Forest job at some point.

Today, I have mostly been watching Nick Woltemade's penalty on a loop.

Takeaway from today's game, Bruno is still magic, and Anthony Gordon is no longer on penalty duties.

Jesus loves the people of Newcastle.

Can anybody explain to me why kids in Cramlington have suddenly started referring to each other as bro, using terrible fake American accents?
This is South East Northumberland, for goodness sake, not effing South Central Los Angeles.
Bring back pit yack.

Can't grumble at that

I haven't felt like that, leaving a game for ages. Proper hoof in the Toon halls.

All I can say is, at least we didn't get beat. Team selection and performance aside, that ground has been something of a graveyard for us over the years, so I'll look at it as a positive.

It's easy to say that it's no disgrace to lose to a team that will most likely be in the shakedown to win the whole thing, but it could have and perhaps should have been so different.
Yes, Barca have an embarrassment of talent but take those first-half chances, and it's a completely different game.

I still can't believe Sandro Tonali, plays for Newcastle United.
