Here's my "hot" take for 2025
They ruined the aesthetic of the Sultai and Abzan clans.
One's purple with gold and green, the other is green with gold and purple. If some of these cards didn't have flavour text/watermark you wouldn't know who was who.

Oh wow! This is exciting. Magic novels have had their ups and downs (woo boy, the downs...) But I actually enjoyed The Sundered Bond and The Wildered Quest and of course Children of the Nameless. MTG story is in a much better place overall these days. So lets see!

Y'all don't miss much, so I'm sure you already know this. But just in case: Hybrid mana symbols are substantially larger than single color and generic pips. But the colorless mana symbol {C} is the same size as the typical colored pip.
