Today, I gained a new level of respect for people who install drywall for a living.

I feel like there’s been a recent spike in survey requests for everything I do. I really don’t want to provide feedback about the 2x4s I bought, or the windshield trim adhesive, or the same bottle of body wash we buy every month. Just be satisfied that I’m a repeat customer. That’s my feedback.

I keep looking for promotion codes when I pay my son’s tuition bill, but I have yet to find one.

I’m becoming more convinced that design system teams don’t belong in either the Eng or Design orgs. The problem is breaking the rigid EPD structure in most companies that dictates who funds the team.

My friend Brian reminded me of this video yesterday and I love how well it shifts the accessibility perspective.

There’s nothing like the annual family group chat about Christmas gifts to change ads you’re served on social media to even more things you couldn’t care less about.

@figma.com seems to not be respecting the ordering of component property options recently. Anyone else seeing this problem?

We’re consolidating our design system Figma libraries into one master library at Grammarly.

I’m considering documenting the process here and then translating it into a blog post. Would anyone be interested in following along?

I need a day just to go through all the design system and accessibility stuff I’ve bookmarked while scrolling in the middle of the night when my brain wouldn’t turn off.
