One of my goals for this year was to take some time to work on short stories. They're so much fun, a sandbox where I think you can take more risks compared to novel-writing, and I think they really up my game in general. So I'm basking in having completed & submitted one this morning!

Finally found it. The average book thief makes between 60k and 99K USD.

The average author makes around 10k. Most pirates are stealing from people worse off than themselves. But they cosplay as poor or use poor people as a shield to justify their class warfare.

I made 55K on my WIP! (In fact, ended on the round number of exactly 55,000 words today, haha). I'm on track to finish this draft by early next week, with I think a little over 60k total. Wooooo!
