Peter Mandelson is telling the truth on one thing: the idea he was bought for a $4k “bursary” or a $75k gift is ridiculous

The real incentive was a post-government payday - one so big he *rejected* a $3–5m-a-year offer

And Epstein enabled that payday

Here’s the evidence. 🧵

After Shinzo Abe was assassinated, the journalist Eito Suzuki immediately wondered whether a cult was connected to the killing. When it emerged that the suspect harbored “hatred toward a certain group,” Suzuki guessed what was coming. newyorkermag.visitlink.me/vkDaD2

If humanities were useless AI companies would not be scrambling to ingest all the work of writers/thinkers/artists/journalists/etc. They, in fact, cannot do anything without that kind of work. But devaluing it is a great way to get people to give it to you for free/little $$, or justify stealing it
The U.S. has successfully convinced its people that “the humanities are frivolous and STEM is Important and Real” is basically a law of nature: this is absolute nonsense that we should stop putting up with.

We’re heading back to 1990 levels (27,000 cases). If we keep it up we’ll get to pre-vaccination numbers (500,000 cases annually)

This is a self-made public health disaster 🤦🏻‍♂️

Because the issue of population change is so widely misunderstood, here's a short thread which seeks to lay it out simply.
It explains why there is almost nothing anyone can do to change the global population trajectory, both as numbers rise, then as they fall.
