About 2,000 people downtown for a rally in Northampton. Plenty of great signs. Probably the most popular topics were supporting immigrants and opposing Musk, Trump and fascism generally. So early days, but plenty to be optimistic about in terms of resistance.

What happened to 538's polling? It used to be upper right on their homepage and now it's nowhere to be seen. Trump's net approval had shrunk to 0.1%. Is this ABC taking it off the homepage under pressure to not embarrass Trump? I sure hope not.

So now we have "illegal protests" at colleges in the Former Republic of the United States. And if colleges don't stop them, they'll be penalized by withholding of Federal funds. Good thing Trump's standing up for freedom of speech! Oh wait, he's the one calling them "illegal." Day 43 of autocracy.
