I just pulled the data for Canadian provinces of the most common injuries by province, here they are:

Hi, this was poorly phrased, I’m aware GMs vote for the Vézina, what I should have written is that post-season award voting is often very dumb and skewed and reporters maybe shouldn’t participate in it.
Logan Thompson got one (and four third place votes) and played 43. My lukewarm take, as someone who voted for the NHL awards exactly once, is that reporters shouldn't vote for awards, let alone the Hall of Fame.

I don't think I've ever needed anything more than this movie at this exact period in time.
I told you we’d be back

Beyond the skill and the moves, Hutson plays with daring and joy and fearlessness. Don’t care if he grew up in Chicago, he’s a Flying Frenchman.

They died because they were women.
Today is the 35th anniversary of the Dec. 6, 1989 Polytechnique Massacre. 14 women, most engineering students, were murdered by a misogynist gunman. December 6 is now the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. www.cbc.ca/montreal/fea...

Hutson made a cut to the net just now that was sneaky as hell and one day the other guys will figure out he can do that instead of firing the puck on net from the boards

Short Story Of Little Consequence.
I once had breakfast with Joey Ramone in the mid 90s at, I think, Veselka in the East Village. Joey, not a tidy eater, somehow got oatmeal on the *inside of his glasses. I was too nervous to point this out, thinking, "He's bound to notice at some point!"

So I had other stuff going on tonight and didn’t watch the game(s), but HabSky and HockeySky have got me all caught up and yeah this place has the juice now

However many wheels fall off during this double minor, tonight has been a good performance for what is, really, a bottom five team.

At this point it’s starting to feel like an aesthetic choice by Hutson. Scoring is boring, the true artist chases beauty, not vulgar worldly outcomes.
Better angle of Hutson's brilliance.

Nice save to keep him off the scoreboard.

Lane Hutson: just fun as hell

Hypothesis: Matheson, a well-known smart fella, has a heightened understanding of how thin the margins are for these guys and as a result tries too hard and has zero chill.

Having gorged myself on a Flyers-Sens amuse bouche of indifferent defensive semi-competence I now feel adequately prepared for the Habs game. Drop the puck!

FINE. It appears several of you from the bad place have found me. I shall start posting mediocre hockey takes again.
