While I’m immensely proud to have coordinated this 5-month effort, it’s also the saddest sequel I’ve ever been part of. 9 months later, the number of journalists killed has risen to over 170. Among them was Mahmoud Isleem Al-Basos, who filmed for the #GazaProject just a week before he was targeted.

While it's not clear where the journalists were filming before getting into the car, the location of the strike here is more than 3km from the border and IDF outpost constructed near it.
