Regarding hobbits/dwarves fandom tropes, it's interesting that the fandom trope of "hobbits being more resistant to poisonous plants than dwarves" is so popular. Dwarves are famously sturdy and resistant to any sickness, doesn't it make more sense for them to have such resistance?

My tumblr is dying a slow death, I mainly use it as an archive nowadays (because it's been bad for a while) but it's crazy how much my numbers have tanked on there. I've been posting art (on different accounts) there since 2010, it's never been this bad before and it makes me sad for artists

Confession time: I hate drawing hair, and I have no idea how to do it correctly. I have watched every tutorial, tried every tip and trick and I still don't have a goddamn clue how to draw hair without wanting to bite through my goddamn iPad in frustration every time.

It's being marketed as a quick time-saver, but it's messy, inaccurate, it is putting entire industries of people out of work, and the environmental impacts (energy and water usage) are huge and debilitating.

Example: Yesterday I checked the lotr.fandom page for Lobelia and it said that she was married with a son during Bilbo's quest and that she was directly involved with the auction of Bag End. This is movie fanon that is being presented as lore. And they mistakenly make disturbing implications here.
Guys for the love of god, if you wanna read up on Tolkien lore, do NOT use fandom wikis. You will be reading (usually movie based) headcanons presented as actual lore Tolkien wrote. Sometimes OCs even show up while being presented as canon characters.

I've gotten a few comments lately where I'm referred to as a "bagginshield artist" or "someone who mainly draws bagginshield" and that's quite interesting because I've only made a handful of bagginshield related works while I got hundreds of pieces which are in fact, not about bagginshield.
