If your ancestors weren’t enslaved on this land, if their blood wasn’t shed on the cotton fields, then you aren’t Black American or African American. You’re still valid in your racial identity being Black or African, but Black/African American is about lineage.

People assume I’m left-wing, right-wing, or a centrist. I’m none of that I’m pro-Black. That doesn’t mean I’m racist; racism takes too much energy and time. I don’t hold systemic power to oppress anyone and even if I did, it’d be far too time-consuming.

A white woman tried to fight me at my first job yesterday. Didn’t escalate past yelling and me telling her to leave the office. But I’m still trying to figure out her plan there? Second job was fun tho the kids got to go outside.
