Yes you are absolutely correct--too many old timers hanging on-- here in California-Matsui and Pelosi are both in their 80's but refuse to step down. They need to check there ego and let some fresh voices have the mic.

Democrat party needs to do more than just be anti-Trump. We need a positive platform of change. Universal Health Care and a 36 hour work week would be a good start along with funding for massive investment in public transportation.

Going forward every Democrat running for office should be pushing for Universal Health Care, 36 hour work week, and massive investments in Public transporatation. We need to not just make this about what we are against but also build a vision of a better future.

Yes all those who are enable him need to be removed from power. We were all counting on the system of checks and balances to keep him in line but we have learned the three branches are only as strong as those willing to stand up for the law and basic morality.

District 1 congressman Doug LaMalfa has had a rough week. He has faced hostile crowds at town halls and this morning protesters were out in front of his Yuba City office. His district has been overwhelming red and yet support for the MAGA agenda is vanishing.

One thing about these dictator types is it's like the Highlander movie "in the end there can be only one"--Remember Hitler and Stalin were buddy buddy for a short while. Eventually though someone who feels they have the upperhand always pushes it to far and the tanks start rolling
