The wingers get the ball in good areas to go 1 v 1, and then you realise the opposition are allowing it to happen (this stat is from the 24/25 season, but still). So much for data-led recruitment.

If the sporting directors and Maresca were sacked tonight, how long would it realistically take to undo the damage that has been done? I’m guessing there’d be a lot of pain, financial losses, etc. so you’re looking at 3+ years. You don't expect players like James to stick around for another rebuild.
