But why stop there? What about removing human settlements from remote areas so that Putin can't attack them (and to reduce human effects)? Reducing the number of flights to avoid being targeted (and reducing CO2 emissions)?
Any other ideas?

Estonia joins Finland and Poland in exploring defensive bog restoration, the environment and defense ministries just told me. Talks still at an early stage, as in the other two countries.

If you don't know it, it really is an amazing tool (with some problems, obviously). The most important thing is that it allows me to read (well, hear) a few more papers, missing a little less of what's new in science.

I (only) recently started using notebooklm.google
If you don't know it, it really is an amazing tool (with some problems, obviously). The most important thing is that it allows me to read (well, hear) a few more papers, missing a little less of what's new in science.

These high altitude habitats, plants, birds and other critters are amazing.
Getting away from everything and celebrating life is important.
