There's a bit in ISOLT where Proust is plagued by the fear that he had talent at some point, but he didn't nurture it (out of fear + insecurity), and now he's squandered it. Which is funny because girl you're Marcel Proust. And I certainly am not. But that did kinda happen to me.

Shelving the CD section at the library owns bc it inspires one to contemplate the existence of people who check out things like the Shrek soundtrack or 4 different Phil Collins CDs at once. Also we have a row of Glee CDs but there's no way anyone's checked one out since Obama
