Cool kids might remember me from the old bird site.

Smug, hate God, love to sin and post about #atheism because that's my entire personality.

Never sarcastic.

Yeah, I'm one of those internet atheists your cool youth pastor warned you about.

Why? Because religion is the far-too-common denominator in the world's problematic equations.

It teaches faith over fact. It instills "us vs them" mentality. And in countries like the USA, it's becoming law.

I know it's trendy among Christians and the more sanctimonious atheists to call vocal ("new"/"reddit") atheists "religious" because, well, we're vocal. We've ascribed some degree of importance and taken an interest in atheism.

But it's not "a religion" in the sense, you know, RELIGION is.

One of the biggest things theists need to understand about atheism is that it's a response to the claims of theism.

I think most nonbelievers would be perfectly happy to keep their non-belief to themselves if believers would do the same. But unfortunately, proselytizing is a part of most religions.

Watching the Aileen Wuoros doc on Netflix.

Didn't realize she accepted Jesus and is up in heaven with Jeffrey Dahmer.

How I feel when Christians get mad at me for my understanding of Christianity.

Yep. That's how atheists are made.

If Jesus cared about "healing the sick," he'd have explained how disease is not caused by demons and how to properly wash one's hands.

Biblically accurate. 🤷‍♂️

"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up."

It's nice that some Christians are feeding the hungry, but wouldn't it be even nicer if Jesus stopped by and magically multiplied the food?

Look. I know there are nice Christian people.
The issue, is that the religion has resulted in such awful people going back generation after generation for millennia.

It can’t just be the people. The idea itself must be flawed.

The religion that breeds hate cannot be good.

The Bible tells us to love one another but I prefer the Kama Sutra better because it's more specific.

Distilling Jesus' teachings down to "be nice" is also cherrypicking.
November 3, 2025 at 6:06 PM
Yup. Professional Christians should not make a profit.

Probably shouldn't have any wealthy people in your congregation either.

And definitely shouldn't be hanging out in some giant, ornate building.
If the leader of your church is wealthy, you do not go to a Christian church. You go to a capitalist church that performs Christinan drag.

Unpopular opinion: tax dollars should feed the hungry, not church tithes.
November 1, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Which is why every Christian church runs a food pantry...
Jesus said it shouldn’t take a court order to feed the hungry.

Hey, so for the several of you who follow me who actually seem to take an interest in what I have to say, I'm going to be transitioning to a new account.

I'll still be including my poignant insights about atheism, but under the umbrella of my autism.

I'll probably keep this for atheist memes.

As we're into Spooky Season, I have to wonder... why are cemeteries (allegedly) haunted?

I thought ghosts were stuck where they died—traumatically, of course, with unfinished business—forced by Ghost Code to haunt that spot.

Do they get to retire to the cemetery? Or that for non-traumatic deaths?

Also known as "religion."
The arrogant disregard of critical thinking, painstaking research, and humble discernment has been rebranded as “common sense.”

This means that I've been religious in the past.

I don't need anyone's consent to think & live as I wish today.

No consent from a government.

No consent from religion.

No consent from anyone.

I'm not saying the Venn diagram of these illiterates and Christians adamant abortion and same-sex marriage are ruining Murica is a circle, but it's pretty darn round.
The question of "why do people vote against their self-interest" is pretty self-explanatory when you look up the literacy rate in local schools.

We have high schools with a literacy rate of 32%.

Thirty-two percent...

While yes, evangelicals are keen on evangelizing, even Jesus Followers can turn to Jesus' (alleged) teachings about "preaching the gospel to all creatures" and "making disciples of all nations."

Proselytizing is, unfortunately, part of Christianity.
I think one of the things that non-evangelicals find most annoying about evangelicals is when they claim that other people can’t lead happy and fulfilling lives unless they believe in the same things that they do.
