For a long time there was a "damsel in distress" trend in media. It was replaced by "badass damsel can save themself!" trend, which I also find problematic.

Realizing that manifestation ideology is rooted in privilege and ableism really made a lot click for me. There's no "delulu is the solulu" when your disability snaps you awake with a punch to the gut.

I cried a lot last night and woke up with a puffy face, so I was worried about what excuse to make at work if I got questioned about it. Turns out I'm alone in the office today!! I'll take that blessing, thank you.

I'm in such a fog today that I struggled to find a template in Word so I could cut blank cards to size until I remembered the paper cutter has measurements and I don't need the computer for anything.
