I’ve realized that some people have never heard of king cake. This is a condensed explanation. Now imagine this as a crust to a cookie butter cheesecake. Lol.
King cakes are cakes eaten during Mardi Gras season! They’re usually made from a brioche-type dough and are filled with cinnamon, although other flavors are available. Sometimes a plastic baby is baked inside. If you get the baby, you buy the next cake.
