Seattle nerd. I podcast on The Incomparable Podcast Network and sometimes other places. I used to recap television shows.
On Sunday, I am supposed to fly from Seattle to Los Angeles (for more Improv classes!). On Friday, they're going to announce that 10% of flights have been cancelled.

There is a 10% chance that I end up taking the train. Kind of hoping I do!

I am told that tonight is the "full Beaver moon". I believe that was also very popular in Hustler magazine back in the 70's.

I am about to be playing D&D live! This is part 2 of a heist adventure called "Shard of the Accursed" and will start out with me making a big, wild play in an attempt to bail us out of the big, wild play made by @jamesthomson.bsky.social at the end of the last ep.

New Game Show! We were tasked with selecting the vampire that is Greatest Of All Time (I avoid the phrase “GOAT vampire” because that’s just a chupacabra)

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a movie I have “seen” over two hundred times in theaters, although after a while you stop paying attention to the actual movie. Point is, I was on a podcast about it and here it is!
A Hunting Lodge for Rich Weirdos (The Incomparable Mothership 789)
We celebrate the 50th anniversary of the longest-running theatrical run of all time—“The Rocky Horror Picture Show”! It’s an unapologetic musical about being yourself (and giving yourself over to plea...

Our D&D heist continues! There are many named horses in this episode! I’m pretty sure! It has been a while since we recorded it! www.theincomparable.com/tpk/524/
You Know Thieves, They Like to Steal (Total Party Kill 524)
Style and subterfuge intermingle as our heroes sweet-talk a gang of thieves into letting them infiltrate their headquarters and abscond with a painting that may or may not have magical properties.

In the movie Purple Rain, Prince’s lowest point comes during the song “Darling Nikki,” when we are told and shown that the audience hates it. In the family-friendly network TV cut, all the dirty parts of songs are covered up with the sound of applause, so it sounds like everyone is VERY into it.

Timtin and Pocky are two fun things that are too much fun to pronounce the way they’re supposed to be.

Hey, I’m gonna start flagging my podcast appearances. Partly for self-promotion, but mostly to remind myself that I actually do stuff.

I played K’ronng, a bugbear rogue, in this heist adventure. We pretend to be fashion designers.
Nice Day for a Goth Wedding (Total Party Kill 523)
It’s a new adventure for our ragtag heroes as they use their powers of persuasion and keen fashion sense to butter up a vain gang of thieves to get a hold of a very special painting.

Before the finale of Bon Appetit, Your Majesty (it's charming!) we are watching an episode of old school Iron Chef. As always, I am impressed by the English dub actors. They don't know what that stuff tastes like!
