D&Q is reprinting Melvin Monster as an Omnibus!

(Thank you for the heads up, @acidkeg.bsky.social !)
John Stanley's Melvin Monster had a rough life (What with the family pet alligator trying to eat him.), so it's a relief to see him make another child miserable.

"Nooo! Do you realize the collectible value of my Dad's Lionel set? I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO EVEN PLAY WITH IT!"

(Re-post, because typos & these can’t be edited)

We enjoyed watching Howard Hawks’ THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD (1951). Such solid, no-nonsense performances, it’s easy to tell this is the guy who gave us HIS GIRL FRIDAY, and loads of cowboy films.

Looking forward to rewatching THE THING (1982).

From The Munsters to Godzilla to Hellboy, monsters make for some interesting stories.

We really like monsters from classic literature— like those interpreted by Universal.
