Some folks see me as an old Toonami head, but there was something special about Anime Unleashed on TechTV back in the day. I particularly loved Serial Experiment Lain, Trigun, and ROD: The Series. So many bangers.

All that’s left of Anime Unleashed is the fond memories of its devotees and a few scattered pages that can be found using the Wayback Machine. The shows that aired, or at least some of them, can still be found on various streaming sites or on DVD and Blu-ray.

I haven't seen this talked about much on Bluesky, probably because there's like near zero hip-hop representation on this website and I feel a good amount of people would pearl-clutch about copyright infringement. But this is another important wedge between Spotify and artists
I've talked about Whosampled before as the site where snitching got Return Of The Soul removed from streaming services. It is now being officially looped into Spotify via this SongDNA feature that presents as artist-supportive!

I remember reading that and it brought into stark relief how much it sucks for any balancing/dev team in charge of making decisions on live-service games
One of the producers on Guilty Gear Strive said it was basically impossible to source player feedback on balance changes online because nobody had original opinions and would just parrot what the most popular content creators said and so they had to rely on data and I think about that every day.

The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.
