We received printer proof copies of The EGM Compendium.
Still feels crazy to hold an actual copy of the book. Working for magazines, you get used to seeing the results of your efforts soon afterward. This has been a long time coming.

The problem is I got spoiled by finding a $120 turntable for $10 at a garage sale last year, so my opinion on things is very skewed. 😄
(But it’s also that I need to properly sort out my stereo situation first before worrying about a CD unit.)

I'll be receiving one of those SuperStation consoles here soon, and as my first real venture into a MISTer machine, I'm feeling like it might end up being all I need for a number of things.

After seeing what they're now going for, thinking I might sell my Retro USB AVS. It's a neat little system, but if I'm honest, I could probably count on one hand the number of times I've busted it out to play NES carts.
Maybe the ability to do so is just something I no longer need in my life.

Jetpack Cat, funny enough, led to one of the reasons I quit Overwatch. There was all this talk about how JC was too weird and outside the lore for the game... and then they added that stupid f'n hamster in a giant mecha hamster ball.

I don't really care about the game anymore, but HOLY SHIT, Overwatch is adding Jetpack Cat.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that art without it either being on the cover of the game or an issue of TurboForce.
