Finally arrived at my all-time favorite line in any comic book (Daredevil vol. 2, #32). I guess it both grounds the insanity of superpowers and reaffirms how fantastic they are. I don’t know, but I love it. Peak peak Bendis.

Finally, I’m here. Once I got thru the arduous last 75 issues of vol 1, I assumed it’d be smooth sailing but #20-25 were absolute torture (possibly the worst nothing-happened stretch of 6 comics I can recall; I wonder how many subscriptions that lost in 2001). I’ve earned this moment. Finally.

Funny that just a few days ago I was blarfing about how Halloween stuff always seems to start popping up right around the Fourth, and, yep, looks like images of this year’s Monster Cereal collab with the Jim Henson Company are starting to hit.

The past 4-6 weeks or so, I’ve almost exclusively used my online time to watch hockey and read comics, as God intended. I so enjoyed the Death of Superman/Reign that I wonder if my life would be significantly different had I been reading it in 1993 instead of Wizard.

Is there a rule about boxing glove designs? I’m surprised a very arrogant, annoying fighter hasn’t had custom made gloves to look like the top of a penis. I guess that’s a freebie for the Paul brothers.

I checked in on Tumblr and got a few hits on these photos from a time when I wanted to make a calendar of cereals. (But I am not good at photography, so that died.) These were taken by candlelight during the Hurricane Sandy Halloween.

Always been weird to me that Marvel has never tried to revisit and exploit...SOMETHING... with the Green Goblin Maximum Overdrive truck. Not even an MCU Easter egg.
