Aster and Lychee are taking some time away from the bonfire to rest their feet. These two little CUTIES. I'm SO HAPPY with this.

(Not great writing below, but a better description of the scene than anything else I could write) The night was colder than planned; it should have been early summer, but it still felt like early spring. A clear sky showed the expanse of stars, complemented by the full moon. Comets splashed across the darkened heavens. Lychee, the pink and blue lemur, needed to step away from the bonfire party, wandering out onto the pier. She sat, arms curled around herself, until a second figure joined her, Aster, a deep purple tamerin. Coat already removed, he offered it to the other. "Thanks," Lychee slipped it on, enjoying the warmth in the sleeves. "Guess we both should have checked the weather before leaving," Aster commented, sitting next to Lychee, feet hanging off the pier just above the frothing water. "Wanna remind me next time?" "Oh, you know I'll forget about it by then." "Good point."
