My dad was the best. He opened up a world of books, art and music to me. He instilled a sense of self-respect in me. He stood up for the oppressed, poor and needy. He loved his family. His faith in God was unwavering.

1. Someone made it by pulling themselves up by their bootstraps.

Yesterday, I attended a training at my local Art museum on working with the disabled. The training was 3 hours long and presented by ABLE-SC.
It was fantastic.
