Always amazed how simply a 20 min power-nap can change your day when you’re tired.

Everything is accelerating, cycles are shorter, reactions are faster, attention is shrinking, dopamine is a must. Welcome to the meme economy.

Latest grey pattern, clicked Unsubscribe and the button to confirm was placed below the fold (and I'm at 1920x resolution). This probably beats the anti-spam checks b/c it is a legit unsub page but by making the CTA harder to reach, they prob see a small gain.

It is surprising how few co’s run their teams thru PM interview training & I don’t mean HR etiquette but rather identifying the Qs in 15 min blocks, the competencies you’re testing for, recognizing patterns of responses by asking the same Q across many candidates etc.

Going thru a team exercise about understanding the relationship between emotions and the types of work is making me realize that AI could listen-in on every conversation and inform real-time. This is def. where things are going.

On my flight earlier today, the passenger next to me "hand-wrote" 7 pages edge-to-edge, top-to-bottom in small print! That's more writing than I probably have done by hand in the past 5 years. She was totally locked-in.

Interesting how many of the core PM courses are on Maven and many of the growth courses are on Reforge. These are like research labs competing.

Just noticed that Robinhood is ranking second (to Yahoo Finance) on some stock symbol lookups directly on Google. That’s a great growth-hack building non-authenticated web landing pages for live stock prices.

An interesting product question. The attached screenshot adds more friction to the Google Places review process. Do we think this will result in more or less bots vs humans. h/t @gsterling

With all of social moving to a TikTok algo, when it comes to organic social for growth, it's unfortunately become volume of posts across accounts (programmatic) to see what might hit or stick vs leveraging influencers. The influencer pop is now a mixed ROAS.

I’ve thought of GenAI as democratizing builders but I read an interesting phrasing today. GenAI is democratizing experience. What used to require cross-functional experts with years of experience is now available to everyone at anytime. h/t @bhanu

Some interesting insights on the latest @saastr podcaast w @samdblond @jasonlk:
- Customers may prefer an AI BDR (vs a real human). AI is always avail and can blend sales + support
- B/c of the convergence of sales + support, may reduce overall vendors as AI can handle both

I wrote a blog post sometime back about the transition to Super IC. Now I'm teaching a session on it!
The Super IC Roadmap
In 2025, the most valuable ICs don’t just do the job, they build the tools that do the job. Raj’s vision of the Super IC is a strong framework for anyone who wants to level up. The people who thrive…

Experimenting w/ a new wkly session w/ my PMs where we collaboratively do product teardowns or discuss a product decision some company made or other. It's been fruitful. Not sure, if this will level-up product sense but I will continue to report.

There is a plot btwn feedback vs noise. I encourage feedback across the teams but not all feedback is written w the intent to provide deep insight vs to be seen or present and thus we are back to human psychology in the workplace.

Increasingly finding my private chat founder, product and growth communities (Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram) to be higher value than text-social. I'm exiting some of my nosier, lower-value communities but spending more energy on higher-value ones. Do you have a favorite? Feel free to DM.

Really interesting share from a colleague detailing some of the learnings from the Anthropic team using circuit tracers to try to understand how their LLMs worked:
We are finally beginning to understand how LLMs work: No, they don't simply predict word after word
Circuit tracing is a relatively new technique that lets researchers track how an AI model builds its answers step by step – like following the wiring in...

Practically every great self-serve agent example I've seen (and the few I've set up) either use email, calendar or a Slack message as a trigger. We sorely need this to extend to iMessage, WhatsApp, LI DMs, X DMs, basically all other chat mediums that may not have open APIs.

12 yr old son is asking how to learn more about bldg with AI, vibe coding, design or other. Uses ChatGPT but let's say at a cursory level. I could spend some hours & walk him thru stuff but am curious what resources would you point him at? Assume minimal coding background, mostly things like Scratch
