Join us this Friday (2/6) for our 5th CD's monthly social hour at 4200 Cedar from 6 to 8 PM. All are welcome!

We're making stone soup (so bring your favorite vegetable!) and will be sharing resources about how to resist the ongoing federal occupation.

With Trump's attacks on our communities and an MIA Democratic Party, we need strong, independent, progressive leaders at the local and state levels more than ever!

Ever thought about running? Then fill out this form and let's talk:

No evictions under occupation!

The Minnesota Greens were happy to join other community groups and organizers for a press conference at the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority to demand that MPHA stop all evictions and call upon Governor Walz to enact an eviction moratorium.

"In a movement organized by Angry Catfish in Minneapolis, bike shops and groups across the United States are hosting memorial rides this weekend for slain bikepacker Alex Pretti."

Yesterday, Greens joined thousands of Minnesotans to demand ICE end their operations and leave the state.

This morning, they shot and killed another legal observer, Alex Pretti. Our hearts go out to his family and we stand in solidarity with the community he was protecting.

GPMN joins thousands of voices in urging @governorwalz.mn.gov to enact a temporary eviction moratorium and encouraging folks to participate in the Jan. 23rd Day of Truth & Freedom.

Remember: we keep us safe, and only through collective action can we resist this authoritarian crackdown.

Take action! The House may vote soon on whether to repeal the 20-year mining ban for the #BWCA watershed - another attempt by Trump & allies to overturn protections from toxic sulfide ore mining, which threatens all MN watersheds.

Rest in power, Renee ✊

She should still be alive today, but an ICE officer killed her in cold blood. On top of that, Trump and his administration are covering it up with lies.

This is the ninth ICE shooting since September. We need to abolish ICE and put these agents on trial.

ICE agents have just shot and killed a legal observer in Minneapolis. Our hearts go out to her family and the community she was protecting.

ICE has only brought chaos, fear, and now death to Minnesota, and they must leave immediately.

MN Greens stand with Minneapolis' teachers and ESPs ✊️
I'm proud to stand with @mfelocal59.bsky.social as they prepare to go on strike.

Schools and parks go hand-in-hand in serving our youth and helping them learn and grow, and I stand with the educational professionals in demanding smaller class sizes, living wages, and safer schools.

Annie Young was a Green champion for decades, serving both in elected office and directly with community, and we're excited to support Adam and see him continue that legacy on the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board!
I've been thinking a lot about Annie Young lately. For those who don't know, Annie Young was a 7-term MPRB commissioner, an advocate for environmental justice and the co-op movement, and a voice for all those in Minneapolis fighting for a cleaner, kinder, and more just city... 🧵
