I'm going to seriously regret not taking the dogs for a walk or run today but it's been spitting snow off and on with the wind gusting 30+mph all day. The dogs have been sleeping most the day. I'm in trouble. 🥺😂

Sometimes when I have staples in my kitchen that take me awhile to use, I will write the date on the container when I open it. I just finished a standard 26 oz container of salt. I did have a 4 oz shaker that I also used during this same time. So 30 oz X 2 people X 23 months.

What in tarnation? I just walked up on a wild turkey hen sitting on the ground in an overgrown field. I looked at her. She looked at me. And then she flew away. She was sitting on eggs. Birds get so confused sometimes. 😝🤯🦃

I knew there was a skunk hanging around but I've been too busy to stakeout the barn. Tonight after dark I went out to close the chicken pens and it was INSIDE eating chicken food. Damn skunk. It left when it heard me. I locked up the pens. I need to MAKE time for a stakeout.

Check another something off the to-do list. I thought there were 3 different trees across the paths through the woods but it turns out there were 6. Some I cut all the way back. Some I just cut enough to get the Kubota through. Now I have 30 mins to run the dogs before sunset.

8am to 1:30pm adulting done. Back home. I should make one phone call but I think I'm going to save that for Monday. I sat down for 15 mins and I'm in serious danger of turning into a pile of goo. So I better get up and start moving again. Two and a half hours of daylight left.

Super stressful day of work. Going to morph into an annoying morning of adulting tomorrow. But tonight, a dinner salad with leftover tequila lime chicken on top, a margarita and a handful of m&m's for dessert and my stress level is currently 2 out of 10. 😁

8pm: Getting home from dropping off 2 roosters at an Amish farm to be butchered tomorrow. Oh sure I could have done it myself. But I hate having to drag out all my equipment and then clean it for 2 roosters. The Amish lady charges $2.50/bird. They will make good soup.

I've only been home an hour and so far Belle peed on the living room floor right in front of me and Otis pulled the leash out of my hand and chased one of the barn cats across the pasture even though I was screaming at him to stop. Good times. 🤦♀️😝🤣🤣🤣
