Well this one was exciting. Snow camping close to Mt Bachelor (central Oregon US). Got a bit nippy to 10-15 degrees but with right equipment, nice and toasty. The fire helped

Snow camping just south of Broken Top in Central Cascades Oregon USA for NYE. Gorgeous day snowshoeing to the shelter but the decent weather report overnight didn’t hold. Around midnight the rain started. Warm and dry until morning tearing down camp and hiking out. But still worth it

Up at midnight to see the meteor shower. A bit overcast then but around one& fairly clear seeing a number of meteors. Not crazy as, but enough to make it worthwhile. Could see more to the southwest in the west, rather than north or east. Big Dipper
