I would love to know more about the svg->stl step! That's where I always stumble in this process and haven't figured out a good way to reliably move more complicated designs into a usable STL format.

I'm happy with it as a first draft - I used the model from tetralite, cut it into 3 pieces and then scalled it up to fit my bed size. It's only big enough to fit a single box from Skyline and was a bit fiddly to glue together, so want to play around some more.
