This year kind of sucked, but @giulia-lalli.bsky.social and I are ramping up to release DRAGONPROOF Aat @ahoycomicmags.bsky.social in the spring, and people DID rediscover Atlantis Wasn’t Built for Tourists this year. Proud of what I managed to do, even if I wish for more.

This year just keeps getting better…Looks like I am going to have to shut down my webpage.. the hosting has increased in price by an insane amount this year (probably due to AI “benefits”)… does anyone recommend hosting services for portfolios? - I need something temp until I sort a new website…

Being inspired by artists like Frazetta and the illustrators from the old TSR books - especially Brom and Tony DiTerlizzi - and also by so many comic artists.. seeing their work made me want to draw. Turned out I might be better at colour than drawing - but they were the original inspiration.
With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.
